Home of the DIY Disco
TakeAway Disco is revolutionising the way music is played at weddings and parties. Gone are the days of vinyl and CDs – it’s all about laptops, tablets and even phones now. All of our equipment is available for collection from our Manchester storage unit, or we can drop it off for you.
Anyone with a smartphone now has an almost infinite collection of music. Many people have huge iTunes playlists, and with the explosion of unlimited music streaming services like Spotify, it’s fair to say that the way we own and play music has changed forever.
Since you already have the music at your fingertips, all you need now is something to play it through. Whilst an iPod dock is a great solution at home, it’s not going to cut it on the dance floor. That’s where the TakeAway Disco Speaker System provides the answer.
Our professional quality speakers are exactly what you need to turn your smartphone, tablet or laptop into your very own DJ for the night. The volume levels and sound quality are as good as you’d expect to get if you had hired a DJ – but you choose the music.
As a branch of the well established Manchester-based hire company “No DJ”, we have been providing sound and lighting equipment hire for over 10 years. As a lower cost alternative we started the TakeAway Disco service in 2013, where customers can collect their orders from us, allowing us to offer cheaper DJ equipment hire packages.
From the beginning we have made sure that all of our sound and lighting hire packages are easy to set up, small and lightweight, and most importantly, very high quality.
Originally based in Radcliffe, in 2015 we moved to Bury in north Manchester to a location that is easily accessible from the M66 and M60 motorways. This allows easy access from all of Manchester, as well as Cheshire, Merseyside and Lancashire.
The most cost effective option is to collect the equipment from us, however we also offer delivery. On our delivery charges page we have prices for all areas of Manchester, Bolton, Bury, Stockport, Oldham, Preston, Warrington, Liverpool, Blackburn, Burnley, Wigan, Southport and even further afield.
